nice color and interesting aftertaste (little burn). I m not excited but i m not also dissapointed. Maybe i was expected more from Havana. As another person wrote this is better that 7 anos but far away from Maestros. BUT...i dont have any negative so i will give it another try
A 40% blend of Cuban rums aged 7-15 years, what is futher aged for 3 months in sweet sauteners wine casks.
Bottle: Classic one with cork cap.
Colour: Honey gold.
Nose: Honey, citrus, ginger, sweet white wine, apple pie and oak.
Flavour: Quite smooth with a slight burn on the palate and in the throat. It is slightly sweetish, but a rather drier and spicy flavour prevails. Unfortunately the taste is a bit flatter without depth. The palate has raisins, caramel, honey, ginger, cocoa and toasted wood.
Finish: Rather short.
Summary: It's definitely a good, but only slightly above average rum without a distinct memorable flavour.
Rating: 6.5/10
Certainly one of the better Havana Club rums, packaged nicely. Not a very complex taste but enjoyable. But there easily are much better rums in this price category.
Agressive nose. Mineral and herbal mouth. Very interesting product. Well made
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Naval pact

Smooth fruity taste with long lasting sweet spicy aftertaste.
Great historical background: The name pacto navio comes from the fact that in the early days rum was shipped to Europe in barrels that were used to import wine to Cuba. This is also reflected by the shape of the bottle and the rope.
First I was a bit afraid because I'm not a wine drinker. But although there is a slight note that reminds of grapes its rather pleasant.
