Light brown in colour. Slight smell of coffee, and alcohol. Overwhelming taste of alcohol.

Found this to be a pretty standard middle of the range rum offering. With notes of fruit, nuts and spice in the body that lead to a light smoky oak finish. Great for Mojito's and other fruit based cocktails.

Quite spiritous on the nose for a 40% rum. Nice enough but cant get excited about it.

It smells reasonably “boozy”. You still get notes of good oak ageing. "The finish is overall quite bitter almost like dark chocolate." via The Fat Rum Pirate
