Smells rich yet superficial or watered down. Taste is forgettable with a strong tinge of alcohol that is a little off putting when drinking neat. Unfortunately, it’s not much tastier mixed with Coke and lime. I could have sworn the quality was better say 5+ years ago…tastes cheap (even for the price point) or my tastes have changed.
Liveless - high in alcohol taste - somehow not attractive - and clima neutral
Nothing special and good with coke. I won't buy this next time. .
Pur nicht elegant zum Genießen. Sehr scharf und wenig aussagend. Wahrscheinlich ist er gut zum Mischen...
If this didn’t light your mouth on fire with an overwhelming alcohol burn you might notice a semblance of a flavor profile. Unfortunately the only thing I could think of was how to put out the raging bonfire this rum lit on my tonsils.

For me the 7 years old Flor de Cana is drinkable only mixed up, because he tastes in the finish like cheap hooch. Except the finish it is ok.
Chears
Flasa nic moc, z hrdla sa nalieva ako z vodky, aroma malo vyrazna, chut ostra liehova. Neodporucam.
There isn't really anything nice about this rum. It's slightly better than a well rum. The flavor doesn't mix well with anything and it's not good enough to drink straight.
To me this is one of those rums that's more like whiskey, and I'm not a whiskey fan. The alcohol taste is overpowering, so I don't taste much in the way of other flavors. It has a strong burn. It's not undrinkable, but if I'm going to enjoy a rum neat there are a hundred I'd choose over this. I'm not big on rum cocktails, so maybe that's a better use of this rum. I was pretty disappointed at nearly $20/bottle, as there are many tastier and more drinkable options. I can see others enjoying it, but this style of rum is just not my thing.
It smells reasonably “boozy”. You still get notes of good oak ageing.
"The finish is overall quite bitter almost like dark chocolate."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Spicy like pop rocks

I've never had the sensation of a spicy pop before like I had with this Flor de Cana. It's interesting, but the fun wears off quickly and it simply turns too spicy with little remaining flavoring. Short finish with an earthy pine type taste.
