Flor 12, 18 and 25 once you try any of those, the rest is just not good enough, this 7 years burns my throat every time i try it, its cheap but its not worth it, theres better things out there.
Mám kamaráda z Nicaraguy odkud tento rum pochází. Sdělil mi pouze jednu věc. Jestli Flor de Cana, tak jedině 25-Year. Zbytek je barevná voda do ostřikovačů. Tak uvidíme, zatím se přikláním k názoru kamaráda Garyho.
While I found this to be a bit rugged neat, a few drops of water added new dimensions for me. Overall, though, pretty bland and unremarkable like most of Flor de Cana's offerings.
Not great
Rum s poněkud drsnější chutí, ve které nejvíce vyniká vanilka. Nijak neoslní ani neurazí.
Alcohol. Strong aroma of alcohol. A little water helps tone it down but still a predominant alcohol smell. Taste is one dimensional. Leaves a coating on the tongue.
Deze mooie fles gekregen maar nog niet geproefd. Daar gaan we eens lekker voor zitten
We found this one really plain with nothing interesting in it. It definitely can be a really good mixer.
Unfortunately pitched against Origenes 18 and Foursquare Zinfandel aged rums, left it high and dry.
Square Bottle with screw cap.
Colour: amber
Nose: light, pleasant
Mouth: warm gentle aroma of dried fruit, some woody notes and a hint of vanilla
Burn: gentle, sustained
Sweetness: 3/5, which is a redeeming feature
Summary: I'll won't mix with coke, happily finish the bottle and look for the big brother.
It smells reasonably “boozy”. You still get notes of good oak ageing.
"The finish is overall quite bitter almost like dark chocolate."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

One of my early favorites, but as I expanded my samplings of other rums, my early ratings dropped. I give this a 5.5, but the system doesn't let me put half a bottle.
