This rum is a little too bitey and not complex enough for my tastes. It's not terrible but just doesn't stand out from the many other great rums out there.

Dobrý. A dobrý je za tri. Mal som väčšie očakávania. Trošku umelý aftertaste. Ale fľaška pekná
Perfectly drinkable, but nowhere near as luxurious and smooth as others.

Moving from the 7 to the 12 you realise that this is the one meant for sipping. It’s solid enough Spanish-style rum with no sugar added -bonus! Dry and roast coffee hints? Decent
I’d say it’s maybe a little lower than Appleton 12 Rare Blend for me personally. I’d give it a 6.5 if I could. Not my favorite, but still good.
Beautiful color, mellow, with a lite burn. Not overpowering. Not alot of scent to it. But for the price a nice easy drinking rum

It was an ok rum, but did not make my day. I have the impression the 18y and 25y are CONSIDERABLY better.
Nice rum. Smooth on second sip. Very dry, rather simple in taste

- Roku 1875 ital Alfredo Francisco Pellas Canessa cestuje do Nicaragui. 1890 zakládá Flor de Cana destilerii v San Antoniu hned vedle San Cristóbal, to je nejaktivnější sopka v Nicarague. Pátá generace rodiny Pellasů řídí společnost dodnes.
- Zrání probíhá 12 let v dubových sudech po burbonu 5 mil od aktivní sopky. Řadí se do skupiny polosladkých rumů.
- Barva je jantarová
- Vůně je plná, sladká po nugátu a vanilce.
- Chuť je po nugátu, mandlích, třešních a vanilce s pikantním kořením.
Zůstává chuť karamelu a dubové kúry.
