Flor de Caña 12-Year

This is a rum that was on my wish list a long time. In its price range it is an ok rum. Some ice or adding a little water smooths the taste. This rum makes me curious for the 18 years and 25 years old Flor de Cana. I am absolutely going to try these 2.

Good rum that you will enjoy. Not a really good rum nor a great rum, but worth the $30.

This is not a bad rum ... It is very sweet in throat but in my opinion lack of flavor ...

This one tastes more like a whiskey to me very harsh finish the bottom that it comes in this okay not a great sipping rum

Jemny rum, netrha, neni ani moc sladky, je dobre vyvazeny a v chuti je citit nadech triny, kokosu a dreva.

40% ABV. Faint alcohol on the nose. Some nail polish. That's about it. Watery. Some tannic astringency. Vanilla. Harsh. Short finish. Improves with time; a bit more vanilla and oak, but still very light.

This took waaaay to long to open up, and once it did, there was hardly anything there. I expected a lot more of this one. At least it's dry.

I usually drink rum with a splash of Coke Zero and fresh lime. I tried this rum at a restaurant, so I mixed it with regular coke and lime. It was good and they made it like a mixed drink. Not spectacular, but a decent rum.
