Lugter, smager alt for kraftigt efter min smag. Ikke min type.
L'arrack est une boisson alcoolisée issue, notamment, de la fermentation de la canne à sucre.
Dans la cas qui nous occupe la mélasse utilisée est produite sur l'île de Java, ensuite, l'arrack vieillit 8 ans aux Pays-Bas. Notons également que du riz rouge fermenté est ajouté à la préparation lors du processus.
Une question, peut-on considérer l'arrack comme un rhum ?
Au nez, il embaume la pièce malgré sa douceur, je perçois des notes plus végétales ainsi que des notes d'agrumes,
En bouche, c'est assez sec et puissant (48%), sur des notes boisées, épicées,
La finale est longue, avec de discrètes notes fruitées :)
Voilà un chouette produit, bien équilibré,

Oprindelig fra 2017: Dufter meget af urter og sprit, måske endda en smule jordslået. Smagen er også meget sprittet og tør til st starte med, men man får en meget lang eftersmag af lakridsrod, som faktisk er ok, men det vejer ikke op for en meget voldsom start. Ikke en der skal stå i mit barskab. (13.December i romkalenderen 2017 og 6. December 2019 i 1423)
Tilføjet 2019: beskrivelsen passer, men der er mere jord end jeg husker. Virkelig dårlig. Får kun 3 nu. Ikke lavere, da den stadig er noget bedre end rum-bar White overproof.
Känns som en agricole. Smakar lite lakrits känner jag och en del fat. Snygg flaska men inte så god.
Dette bliver ikke min farvorit.
Svært at definere smagen, lidt sprittet og hurtigt over.
Ikke min stil men vil tro af fans af typen vil kunne finde bedre ting ved den end mig..
Fortunately i read up on this stuff before tasting and the knowledge of this being a combination of sake and rum made it an interesting experience.

Very diffrent rum, a strange taste. Very similar with rhum agricole, the aftertaste is pregnant, the taste is strange, salt.
Reminiscent of an agricole rum in taste, this delectable Javanese rum is truly a great tipple. Light Golden in colour with grassy notes, a light fruity finish and some clear menthol aromas, this is a remarkable rum to sip as well as to use in rum forward cocktails. The fermented red rice ads a layer of funk to the proceedings too. Top stuff!

Tried this at a rum festival. Not really my favourite. Sharp taste of alcohol, the barrel-ageing removes alot of the good tastes of the 1-year old.
