On the Nose fruity esters - apple overripe pear overripe banana cinnamon nutmeg vanilla new leather old oak clove and anis
Palate dry spicy oak partilly balanced by the merest hint of sweetness spicy fruity esters explode on the palate somewhat smooth by linseed oil
Very nice smell but then you take the sip.....all down hill from there. lighter fluid? A conservative burn but doesn't cover the taste. damage is done so time to reach for the cola......not helpful and possibly makes things worse.
Not my style of rum but fun to have tried it. Nose: lemon and plums like a grappa. Palate: plums and figs in a alcoholic way. No thank's.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Strong grass notes

This is my first taste of a rum that adds rice during the fermentation process so I'm kinda left for a loss for words on how best to describe it but I'll give it my best shot. The nose is very strong notes of grass and something that resembles herb tea. The first taste is one of very high alcohol. Because sugarcane is used this possible be used as a mixture for a substitute of Rhum but I'm not sure I would want to go that route. Unfortunately I'm left underwhelmed.
