Quite a winner. Medium spice with oak. Slightly sweet. Good amount of oil lasts in the long finish. Could envision seasoned rum veterans really liking this one.

An interesting add to the cabinet, very dry with notes of citrus and oak.

Though this is a fine rum, it's a little below average for an 18 year old. The 25 is considerably smoother.

Semi sweet, with notes of caramel, spice, charred oak, vanilla, and almond. A bit harsh for an 18 year old, but a good rum overall.

Not so nice nose of alcohol and "white spirit" which actually makes it pretty bad.
But the mouth is completely different

Very strong and long finish. Clay. Tourbe and smokey.

Excellent addition to the Rum cabinet, solid fruity flavor and a little on the sweeet side, great for sipping

This one is a good rum.. But the orange taste kills it for me.. I can´t stand it.. But i you like pyrat, Zacapa 23 and so on.. You will absolutly love this one..

coming out of the bottle into your glass you catch the aromas of mild citrus and subdued floral scents. Orange peel, cinnamon, cloves and something i can't quite place...allspice maybe? the bouquet is what i would consider solid but not strong. Very full but not pushy. Balanced. front of the tongue feel is soft, smooth, and buttery. As it moves further on your tongue the taste becomes bolder with a rich feel and the taste of leather, oak, orange, lemon, pineapple, and mango. There is also other fruit flavors i can't decipher that I'm sure are native to the region, kind of an apple like flavor? overall very smooth and easily drinkable straight.

Chaleureux riche en arômes, vanille, tabac, cette petite amertume délicieuse, cuir, végétaux. Beaucoup de choses à ressentir sur la fin, réchauffe les sens ! Légèrement sec, juste ce qu'il faut.

Decent nose. Wooden (oak?), round taste, the tail is too alcoholic.

It's hard to rate this rum as my likeness to it seems to vary. On some days I think it's fantastic and on other days it's just good. Always pleasing though!

A nice top shelf rum. Sweet and vanilla stands out. Best in brandy sniffer. Get it a bit warm for more aromas. Not ice!
