For a sub $40 rum, this has to be one of the smoothest and most intricate rums I've ever had. Perfect for just sipping.

My nerdy-alcohol-jargon is limited, so I’ll just say that I’ve had this bottle for about a year. I think I picked it up in the states when I vacationed in Florida. This rum is fantastic, a very nice sipper that I’ve been enjoying very occasionally as I didn’t want to run out (it’s not available in Canada from what I can tell)
It’s a close second to my favourite; Diplomatico.

Guter Mix aus süss und würzig mit merklicher Holz Aromatik.
Wer süsse Rum mag sollte sich diesen mal gönnen.

I received this rum for my 18th birthday, even though like most people my age I’ll take a hearty shot of Captain Morgan in the right circumstance, I honestly very much prefer to sip some good rum, cognac, or otherwise. This rum is just that, the nose is a bit aggressive but is nice if you just take a whiff with some leatheriness and smokiness, with what I find to be some fruity undertones. The mouth is much the same with leatheriness being there but not dominating, the smokiness is more in the background than on the nose but is still noticeable, there is a black pepper-ish taste throughout. The finish is slight molasses and caramel with a slight alcohol burn but it’s not too severe. Overall a very good rum that I very much appreciated for my 18th birthday! (Very nice with Lindt dark chocolate)

Great sipping rum. Very smooth and easy drinking. Slightly sweet with lots of different spices and flavors but nothing overwhelming

Oh god, this one was amazing finding. So much flavors you can find in mouth.. vanilla, tobacco, raisins, cinnamon, tropical fruit, chocolate, caramel...but its all well balanced and beautiful smooth.

Delicate, to a extent sweet, the main note is prunes. Wet, swollen prunes. This rum (at not a high price) is my favorite.

Not spicy enough. Not sweet enough. Bland I found. Not much to say...

Il change des rons trop sucrés et passe-partout que l'on peu trouver dans le commerce
