The rum is only 2 years old and was matured in PX Sherry and Olorosso barrels. Also in a secret cask. This rum is for agricole lovers.

Nose: The scent is very intense and virtually leaps out of the glass. I notice fermented fruits first, which immediately remind me of the old Dictador 20 (the new one is completely different with a lot of chocolate). I notice that he is still quite young. Metallic aromas can be found.
Some glue, rotten papaya, melon, apples.

Taste: The taste starts the same way, with glue, a bit spicy and lots of fermented fruits. In the middle, the glue slackens a little and leaves the fruit more space before it increases in intensity again. Slight bitterness arises. You can taste the same fruits as in the nose, rotten papaya, melon, apples with glue. Orange zest and metallic notes with peppery aromas are then easy to perceive.
The finish is metallic with fermented fruits again.

Aftertaste: fermented fruits and some glue, a little pepper.

Conclusion: It has a very nice fruit twist for its age. On the one hand it seems older than two years, on the other hand I can tell from the metallic notes that it is young.
It doesn't suit my taste, but for agricole lovers it's a good one. For the price asked, this rum is too young for me and I would find a better bottling for me.

Tried it in Kyoto, not so bad. :) Good burning, but not too harsh.

Enjoyed a bottle of Nine Leaves Encrypted III Rum while in Tokyo. Unique and high end looking bottle and label design. Golden color. Pure alcohol, oak and vanilla to the nose and palate when neat sipped. Strong and dry burn at the end being bottled at 116 Proof.

i couldnt drink that...too young and harsh and chemical

If you know how taste are sugarcane, this shit is a waste the time.
