Abuelo XV Napoleon Cognac Cask Finish

Purchased a sample from Master of Malt for £6.61 tasting in comparison with the tawny port and oloroso sherry finish.

This one is much richer, a little less sweet fantastic flavour can taste the cognac coming through with a touch of smoky oak.

En mi opinión este ABUELO XV es el mejor de los 3, es súper equilibrado, de aromas y sabor sumamente agradable (algo parecido al Zacapa xo).

Cela rada je vyborna. Specialne Abuelo, ktere zraje v sudech po konaku je lahudka.

Une belle couleur, un nez et une attaque douce et ronde, un finish franc et fort. Un rhum très complet.

Presentación premium, sabor y olor sumamente impregnado de las características del Cognac, definitivamente una compra inteligente.

za tie peniaze to je podla mna samozrejme slabota. ak XV tak Tawny, ktore je po portskom. cakal som viac od konaku, trochu sladkosti, ale...ziaden zazrak za tu cenu 7/10. cisto chut 7,5/10

Un rhum vraiment très bon et très abouti. Il a un petit côté salin très intéressant!

It's been finished of in cognac barrels and you can tell. For me this is a golden shot from abuelo to put their rum in this price range because before the distance between 12y and centuria was huge. I was fortunate enough to try this rum on a festival. From the first snif and sip this rum puts a big smile on my face. It's complex, still smooth, nice burn and colour and it just taste f....... good. One of the best of the day, will buy one in the near future!
