6.50/10 decent priced mixing rum for cocktails, doesn't hold any weight against the real "Havana Club" though.
It's definitely not the greatest rum of all time but if it's on sale id be more inclined to purchase this one, personally on a bind type of deal id buy Oak heart over this but if Oakheart wasn't available and I want something light, this would probably be the buy.
Strong Floral fragrance. Notes of cherry and floral taste.
This be the spiced version of Havana Club's Anejo Blanco, which be a surprisingly decent rum! There be similarities and some differences 'tween the two though. This rum smells sweet like the Blanco with hints of vanilla and oak, but there barely be banana and no tobacco. As for taste, she also be not as sweet, but while there be some vanilla, tobacco, and wood, there also be a distinctive raisin taste. She seems spicier, but there be no specific spice flavors that jump out at me. Aye, you could make a sipper of this, but I would not recommend it... arrgh!
Fairly tasty. Good in Coke or used for pina coladas. Sippable, but better as a mixer
There is nothing remarkable about this. Solid mixer. But it is nostalgic to me, which makes it much more enjoyable than โbetterโ rums. I can drink HC and club soda on the rocks with lime all day long. My beach rum.
Sweet smell but nothing remarkable. Agree not meant for sipper but tried and had a bit of bite with little flavor. Does mix fine with coke but nothing spectacular
It's just boring. I know the brand has a great story behind it, but this is just a cheap knockoff. Only aroma I get is alcohol. That's it. The flavor is also just neutral, I am sure they added some sweetener, because i get nothing at all from oak or wood or anything.
All that said, this rum won't ruin your drink. It won't do much to help it, but if you are making a drink for someone that just wants to taste the mixer and get buzzed, this isn't a bad choice.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Ok in a pinch but mostly a mixer

I compare this to the 5 year plantation. Decent taste beneath the alcohol burn. easly better than most in this price range. I sipped about 1/4 of the bottle but used the rest for guests that mix drinks.
