bought on a whim expecting it to be a gimmic rum.
Bloody impressed as this is a great sipper.
Strong tasty and beautifully flavoured
Not as nice as kraken or Peaky but still enjoyable with coke & usually able to get as some kind of offer.
easy to drink, spices are nice and vanilla, but I dont taste any oak.
I prefer red leg which is a similar price
Itβs a nice rum but really sweet and not the best, as a rum which is local to me, I would love to be an advocate for it.
Had this rum as like the look of the bottle and always wanting to try something new. Not a fan if I'm honest. Obviously all taste is subjective and for me it just wasn't that great. Strong clove/smokey taste and not enough sweetness for my liking. If it's going cheap give it go. But don't expect anything super amazing
Infused rum, from the Caribbean, produced in England, at The Rum & Crab Shack from St. Ives. Oranges and cinnamon on the nose, pineapple. Cinnamon gum in the mouth, vanilla. Sweet and artificial.
Mix it. Ideally with ginger ale. Not much flavour to do On its own (in my opinion).
Nose dominated by orange and vanilla, same in taste with hints of oak. Sweet and not too long-lasting, practically no afterburn. Good for beginners but spicings covered it all.
Got a bottle of dmf for Christmas and poured one straight away. Nice subtle blend easy to drink and mixes well will definitely get another bottle
Good spicy flavour with strong alcohol content. One of my favs
Itβs not all vanilla but the other notes are equally safe and equally popular. Cinnamon, citrus peel and some very sweet caramel.
"In actual fact the orange peel/marmalade notes really shine through. Itβs reasonably complex β some nice more natural tasting notes of cinnamon, brown sugar and a little saffron spice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Dead Man's falls right in the category of a good spiced rum perfect for Rum and Cokes or simply cocktails. Nothing super special when it comes to flavour, could have some more spice but nothing to really complain about here.
