La Favorite 1995 La Confrerie 20-Year

Beautiful mahogany color, like three other versions of this special Cuvée La Favorite. On the nose, they are notes of smoked, burnt with dried fruit like almond. Coffee, tobacco and leather. On the palate, it is very sweet with notes of licorice and undergrowth. Nice length in the mouth, very soft, it is rounder than the others. A final not too long.

This bottle have an exceptional taste, near the flibuste, but with more toast. Very long and complex. Note. 9,8.

Rum tasting with my buddy in Tampere started with La Favorite Confrerie du Rhum 1995. Very nice high end bottle and label design. Mahogany color. Strong oak mixed with spices and traditional Rhum Agricole grassy flavors to your nose and palate when neat sipped. Dry and intense burn at the end.
