The Berry Bros Grenada 9y was quite a surprise since the bottle looks pretty decent but the color is such a weak light brown. Quite a strong alcohol smell indicates such an immature rum. The taste test is not that bad, but the rum is so dry! I think this would be delicious if kept in a barrel for another 10 years. Strong burn finishes the experience.

Berry Bros Grenada 9 8 out of 10
Wonderful dry rum from Grenada. The aroma of flowers and ripe plums brings an initial tasting of golden raisins, spice and leather, but the finish is really dry and nutty. It's quite remarkable that this rum seems like it will be as sweet as juicy, summer fruit, but once it hits the back of your palate you are swept away to a different season entirely. I like it a lot, only slightly less than Berry's 8yo Grenada. Straight up all the way.
