Distilled using small-batch copper pot stills uniquely designed for Appleton Estate, this rum is a blend of several rums aged 21 years in American oak barrels. Once blended, the rum is re-casked for two years to marry the flavors.
Appleton Estate 21-year rum is produced in Jamaica on one of the country’s oldest and most renowned sugar estates. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes with a signed aging certificate by master blender Joy Spence.

It's worth every penny! You'll hear whiskey drinkers boasting about the $200 they spent on a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue. Well, if you're a rum drinker...this is your Johnnie Blue! If you have the means, this is a must try. What does it taste like? It tastes like the Caribbean. The only bad news is that 8 year old rums will taste generic for a while and even some Anjeos will lose their appeal after drinking this rum.
If you gave this rum a rating of 8 or lower you either have horrible taste buds or a sinus infection! This rum is about one of ten in the world that set the bar.
This is one of the best rums in the world. Simply a masterpiece. A deliciously sweet rum (no sugar added), with flavours of vanilla and chocolate, together with some banana (especially in the aftertaste). A lot of oak in both nose and mouth, but never excessive since everything is perfectly balanced. The aftertaste is sweet and “funky”, slightly warm. The bottle is numbered and comes with a certificate of ageing. Highly recommended to every rum lover. Expensive, but definitely worth it
I've had this bottle sitting at home for 18 months and decided to crack it open. This rum for me has the best lingering aftertaste of anything I have ever drank it's definitely worth the money and don't be like me and sit on it,
This goes in a different direction than a lot of Appleton's other products, with the hogo taking a back seat and a smoky, oaky taste coming forward. Reminds me of a cognac, almost. Amazing for sipping, either neat or with a little water.
Cítím v něm zejména kakao a ořechy a na patře i sladkost. Určitě se k němu ještě vrátím.
An excellent tasting rum that has hints of cocoa, nuts and oak. Well worth it and highly recommended!

Nice brown sugar and toffee notes with a nice creamy nuttiness underneath.
"Tropical notes of sweet fruits a little orange zest and some nice notes of tropical fruit. It burns slightly on the finish which is very long and satisfying. ."

What a moment 10 out of 10
Hell of a discovering! A great Jamaican Rhum with its generous esthers, with a warm, delicate and so well balanced taste. And what a long and pleasant long finish!
