Moje první seznámení s Kill Devil a hned taková dobrota!

Review is a few weeks late. Enjoyed this rum on a night out, but nothing overly memorable about it

Purchased a sample from for around £10.

This rum is strong, and punchy. Rich caramel nutty aroma. Sweet and smooth with a little kick of heat, very oaky with a long finish.

Beautiful mahogany color. The nose is very smoky or even peated with notes of fruits. On the palate, we continue on the fruits like banana and mango, peat is always present. We recognize the red line from Trinidad's rum but they remain very delicate. A beautiful and long finish complex and rich. Very nice rum.

Nice, quite a warm, dry taste, but only on par with maybe a £25-£30 bottle, not worth the high price tag

I'm a fan of Trinidad rum in general, but I had no love for this one while I was really hoping to. Starts smooth enough, balanced oak and a little caramel... but not quite tasty. The finish has a little heat, and for me, a lot of bitter. Leaves me with a medicinal feeling.
