Nose is fairly full of ethanol and difficult to pick out anything at first, then you get a light hint caramel.
Taste is quite light and again not immediately obvious, reasonably sweet and a vague sort of caramel but it is intriguing because you are trying to pin it down...I can't really say more about it.
Finish is smooth and fades fast...what I do notice is a slightly bitter after taste on my tongue which I could do without...but to be fair this is another very cheap rum that is well worth the money, and remember I don't mix rums, so this is a very acceptable sipper without setting off taste fire-works.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
