Old bottle from the 1960s:
Aroma - hot burn sugar and wood,
Taste - woody, dry, molasses but very thin with almost no finish.
With water finish appears - bitter cough syrup.

Enjoyed a bottle of Four Bells Navy Rum while vacationing in Malta. Pretty decent bottle and label design. Well priced at EUR 23 a bottle. Surprisingly dark color. Not your typical Navy Strength at only 80 Proof. But what you get are the familiar Demerara Distillery flavors from Guyana. This is a mixer rum, but go ahead and venture around for a neat sipped experience.

Floral notes on nose, wine finish is strong, barely any burn and candy-ish quality to finish
