El Dorado 21-Year

My friend Dave that is on this site recommended this amazing Rum. Im glad he did. I absolutely love it. So smooth with amazing flavors. honestly could not stop drinking it. I want to buy this rum every time I see it on the shelf. Price point $99 is generous for this perfect rum.

El Dorado 21 Year Old Special Reserve is één van de beste rum die wij hier hebben mogen proeven, een sensatie voor de smaakpapillen. Het is een rum die gemaakt is voor de echte kenners en liefhebbers en het beste genoten kan worden door er langzaam van te genieten, samen met enkele speciale vrienden.

De formidabele kleur en het uitzonderlijke karakter is het resultaat van de Meesterdistilleerder van El Dorado. Aan de hand van zijn speciale recept worden speciaal geselecteerde rum geblend, rum die minstens 21 jaar hebben gerijpt op eikenhout, afkomstig van de Coffey still (Enmore hout), de Versailles 'single wooden pot still' en de Albion Savalla still.

This is a an awesome rum smooth complex and one not to be mixed.

This is a heavy rum, the taste lingers in your mouth leaving you glad you tried this. If your a fan of the others 12 / 15 then this should be one you add to your collection as a treat to yourself to justify the price.

Très belle complexité en bouche et un équilibre parfait.

La prima volta che ho provato questo fantastico Demerara sono rimasto sbalordito dal suo gusto suadente: morbido, dolce con grazia, complesso negli aromi che sprigiona.
Finale moooolto lungo.

Was concerned the rum would be come to oaky at 21 as the 15 was pushing it.

It doesn't it's excellent. Would give it a ten if it was little cheaper......

Jeg vil dog sige, at normalt er mere til 15års El Dorado, men denne skal da ikke snydes og er jo en super dejlig Rom. Skal klart smages, men Rom kender sætter mere pris for dens smag og styrke, end en nybegynder.

I'm this is am excellent rum. It might be to heavy for newcomers. Unfortunately a little bit overpriced compared to the taste of an plantation xo.
Over all a solid choice for dessert or a cigar.

This El Dorado 21 years is lean, dark bodied and getting the heat up a notch.
There is a scent of fruits and spices. Also notes of honey and melasses.

What a great rum! Bursting with flavour. Not to be mixed. Fantastic flavour and aftertaste. No need for ice.
