Al naso mais in scatola, floreale, agrumi e maturati.
Al palato nocciole tostate, maturati e qualche agrume nonostante il grado alcolico elevato è integrato benissimo, pare averne 20 in meno e mantiene una grande rotondità. Finale breve e lievemente pepato. Simile al Neisson l'Esprit

This Longueteau Genesis rum batch 3 from the Esperance distillery in Guadeloupe is produced from red cane, grown on plot No. 9 at the habitation.
It’s from the 2018 harvest and has rested for 2 years after its distillation in a stainless tank aerated regularly.
Thereafter is this brut de colonne bottled without any reduction at 72,7% in 5000 bottles.
The nose is peppery, vegetal, fresh and fruity with aromas from the cane.
In mouth it’s vegetal, fresh, fruity and incredibly soft for the high ABV but it’s of course also powerful with tastes of chilli and pepper.
The finish is long and goes on in the same way together with a taste of lime.
Overall a really great Agricole Blanc that’s very aromatic and powerful.
