Very smooth, no bite, and good for sipping. A bit heavy with sweetness, and a butterscotch taste. Tastes of additives, but still a nice dessert.

Lehký rum s nádhernou vůnà banánů a vanilky. Možná že uz to nenà tak úplně rum, ale pije se skvěle.
It´s the very good sipping rum for someone who like to taste a rum on the strong side of sweetness scale.
You can´t go wrong with this if you want to please a mainstream rum consumer. Sweet, vanilla, banana, smooth and a lil´bit of spicyness. As a mixer it has a nice taste, but more strenght would be useful in this case.

Like others have said, a sweet and smooth treat with a banana aroma. I keep a bottle in the collection for an occasional dessert. Too sweet to have more than one.

This is a nice addition to my rum cabinet. It contrasts some of the other rums I have, and will be great in the summer over ice.
There are probably people who would say it tastes like cheap mix rum, but i disagree. Yes it is sweet and a overload of banana taste and a winch of vanilla, but I really like it. It isn't a diplomatic but comes close.

This is actually what got me in to rum. Its not actual rum though it is delicious to sip with one cube of ice.
They call it a craft rum which means nothing and is misleading. It has a ton of sugar and artificial flavours added. The bottle is really cool though.
It’s a sweet sipper that can be enjoyed in a limited way as it’s a trendy new market out there. More will be coming so enjoy for what they are. A smooth sipper after getting off the ice after a hockey game

Love this rum. Perfect on its own. Smooth on the tongue and packed with flavours. Banana the main one. Easy to drink. Very nice.

This is a uniquely delicious rum. The overarching aroma and flavor of banana is the most noticeable characteristic, but it certainly isn’t overpowering. This is going into my regular rotation.
The nose smells very sweet. Llashings of caramel and toffee.
"It barely even tastes like alcohol in any way shape or form. No mid palate and definitely no finish not even the slightest hint of alcohol burn. Maybe a little bit of woodiness as it goes down."

The first thing you can say about this drink is that it definitely has plenty of banana. I hesitate to call it rum. As others have said it's more of a banana/vanilla liqueur. The first sip confirms the aroma.... with a bunch (no pun intended) of banana and vanilla. Warming and then a slightly bitter banana (surprise) finish. I don't think I'd want to have to drink this very often.
There is not really much if any rum character that I can find in this. Too much spice, banana, vanilla etc. It's sweet but not sugary if that makes sense. The flavor of the drink coats the palate and lingers on and on. The longer I sit here with it next to me the more I dislike it. The aroma is overpoweringly banana. I like sweet rums, dry rums and those right down the middle but I don't like this.
I'd have a hard time recommending this to anyone who wants to taste rum. There are a lot of people out there who like spiced rums and think that is what rum is all about but even to them I'd say just stick with Captain Morgan or CM Private Stock. It's infinitely better and much less expensive.
At $36 in Ohio it's WAY, actually obscenely overpriced. Don't waste your money.
