This is delicious and stunning in flavour, however you can only drink a couple of these on the rocks as it's super sweet. I would consider this more of a rum liquor than a rum. It's still impressive and expressive on expire, ration with flavours ... Devine over ice but only 1
Personally I find this rum too sweet although it isn't unpleasant.
Net zoals de banaanversie een makkelijke dronk. Aanrader voor de meer zoetekauw en rum beginner.
I thought this flavoured rum was going to be ideal for me, as I have a very sweet tooth, and there aren’t many ingredients on this planet, that are sweeter than coconut and especially caramel. But unfortunately there is one ginormous problem with this rum. The caramel totally overpowers the coconut, so what you are left with, is a rum that is sickly sweet, rather than being pleasantly sweet, even for my tastebuds. Now if it was the other way around, and the flavours where predominantly coconut with just a hint of caramel, then this would be perfection in a bottle. The other thing I must comment on about this rum, is it’s texture. It’s so thick, it feels like you’re drinking syrup! Now I must stress, the one I bought, is the 24% vol, which is actually a rum liqueur, so its consistency should be by definition, velvety rich and thick. Having said that, it just feels like it’s to heavy to stomach. I prefer a light, refreshing rum, that leaves me wanting more. Not a rum that makes me feel bloated after a double measure. I’ll finish by saying this. If you are going to give this rum a try, do not use a mixer, as one is not required. Just pour a big measure into an already chilled tumbler, add one big chunk of ice and take your time sipping it.
The 40 percent version is much better. Very, very sweet, but really deep rich flavours. You could try toning down the sweetness by mixing with a normal dry rum. Love the flavour, but this is more of a dessert liquer than a rum.
Still really nice though.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

The colour is dark dark red. Smell: Butterscotch, coconut and sugar. Taste: It taste just like it smells. this is floating candy. So sweet. The rum is very viscous and I have never experienced that before. The aftertaste is just like you just licked on a lollypop. For a sweet thooth like me this is a 9/10.
