When you don't have any other options this is the best mixer. Everyone knows it's great mixed but by itself it's pretty harsh and bland.

Please dont say this is rum - it tastes just spicy... so just use it in combination with cola.

I'm not normally a drinker of spiced rums, but thought I would give this a try, just in case I was missing something.
It's ok, at the price you really cannot expect anymore.
A bit harsh to my taste just with ice, but acceptable in almost any mixer of your choice.
Never going to be a " go to rum" for anyone, more of a fun drink when you want one.
Each to his own of course, but I can't see me going for another bottle.

A pale gold with strong, harsh alcohol taste that hits your nose and is then replaced by strong vanilla and caramel.
Good as a cocktail component or for acquaintances who want a rum and coke.

This was my first rum and I have it with Cola always. Kind of a one trick pony but does the job with coke.

Title says it all. I had it without coke or ice, didn't taste anything but the alcohol. If not mixed with a soda, it's not drinkable for me.

Not a bad rum, but nothing to write home about either. Works in a pinch w soda. Plenty of better options though.
The nose on this rum is sharp, sweet and artificial. It smells almost cloyingly sickly sweet.
"It really is just vanilla, vanilla and a touch more vanilla. There is no subtlety, no hints of spices not even a hint of ginger or anything worth while. Its basically Vanilla flavoured rum."

In the first place it has a great smell. Some spiced are added to this Caribbean Rum. Strong and a lot of flavour. Serving tip: drink it mixed with Cola and a Lime wedge. Enjoy!
