Only managed to find a dram of this heavenly nectar. No colouring, no added sugar, just an excellent rum.
Familiar demerara profile. Why can't I find a full bottle of this?! :(
One of the best bottlings of a full bodied Port Mourant
It offers a rich fruity experience with a hint of aniseed. Upfront sweetness – tropical fruits such as Mango and Banana but slightly stewed or fermented.
"It brims with aniseed and is very slightly bitter particularly in the mid palate. It has nice aged oak notes and smokiness/mustiness which adds an extra layer of complexity. ."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is a 16yo rum from the banks of the Demerara river in Guyana. It's been bottled at 120 proof and brings the fire without apology. Pleasant aroma of buttterscotch and banana, flavors of wood and fruit plus some heat, aftertaste of hot liquorice and black pepper. No apparent added coloring, definitely not sugared or artificially flavored. To be savored straight up, ideally while watching a bull chase a rodeo clown through a busy village.
