Die dritte Abfüllung von Glen Fahrn, diese aber mit 54.3% Fassstärke.
Schönes sattes Bernstein mit Kupferreflektionen im Glas.
In der Nase herrlich nach frisch gesägtem Holz, aber auch gereiftes Holz, verbranntes Holz, Harz, Moos, nasse Felsen, salziges Karamell, kandierte Früchte...……..
Die Fassstärke kitzelt die Geschmacksknospen wach. Sehr interessant, im Gaumen kommen völlig andere Aromen zum Vorschein. Schokolade, Kokos, Zitruszesten gesellen sich zu Karamell, Holz und weiteren tropischen Früchten.
Schön langsam ziehen sich die Aromen im Abgang hin, wie ein Tag am Meer und zurück bleibt ein etwas salziger Mund.
Ein schön ausbalancierter Rum, leider nicht mehr zu kaufen, ich hatte noch ein Musterfläschchen.

Beautiful rich amber with copper reflections in the glass.
In the nose wonderfully freshly sawn wood, but also matured wood, burned wood, resin, moss, wet rocks, salty caramel, candied fruit ... ...... ..
The cask strength tickles the taste buds. Very interesting, on the palate completely different flavors come to light. Chocolate, coconut, citrus zests join caramel, wood and other tropical fruits.
Beautifully slowly, the aromas draw in the finish, like a day at the sea and leaves behind a somewhat salty mouth.
A nicely balanced rum, unfortunately no more to buy, I still had a sample bottle.
