But I'd say not as sweet and candy like, so for some rum lovers it's less novice friendly. The nose is overwhelming, fruity, rich, sweet. Almost no after burn, though it's 42% alcohol. I loved it. 82/100.

Apparently a sweeter profile than the Flor de Cana

well ballanced, notes of exotic fruits and dried fruits, woody rum, nice blend from the plantation family, easy to sip, little burn, nice aftertaste, would buy this again.

I think it is more clear taste than Flor de Cana of same Nicaraguan rum.
And just a little more sweeter.Well balanced, good rum.

On the sweeter side but in a natural tasting way. There are a lot of flavours that blend very well together. It reminds me slightly of the Plantation Jamacia 2002 in that sense, however I feel like these flavours arent fighting one another. Perhaps by that I mean that the flavours are less harsh and softer. There are enough flavours in here that I feel like a group of people could go through several bottles trying to separate them and they would not get further than deciding that there are molasses and vanilla notes. 7/10 is "recommendable to most" but I find it hard to believe that many people would have a bone to pick with this. 8/10 is too strong because this is nothing to right home about unless you identify a flavour you really enjoy. A solid, well-rounded rum.
Update: Banana. Banana is another flavour on further drinking
Update 4/19/2019: Allspice

Sweet aroma of apples, cituses, cinammon. Some vanilla along with apples and ginger on tongue, smooth spicy warmth. Fruity palate, pretty much well ballanced.
