Get This from à friend out Suriname.
Nice light color, the nose is soft sweet and fruity. Tast is great.
I know better rums but Its Ok
Lovely aroma and really tasty. It has a lovely mild burn. Surprisingly good. This rum needs your time and attention because of its mild nature to identify the flavors. What stuck out for me was caramel and chocolate. Like I said - subdued tastes. Cola destroyed a decent rum so go neat or over ice.
Smells like a good molasses and tastes smooth like it too. A bit of wood and spice but overall nothing spectacular. First one Ive had from Suriname and it certainly wont be the last. Aged longer might improve depth.
Smell
Toffee, chocolate , oak ,cherry
Taste
Dry red wine , fruits , mild oak cask , smoky
Chocolate cake .
This was a 50ml sample I received that is a delightful suprise . Tastes a very young rum but lovely on the pallette. I'm unsure if it's artificiality sweetened ..
Voor mijn eerste rum is dit een redelijk scherpe. Wel lekker “smooth” en niet té branderig.
Smell is OK, but in taste, there is too much alcohol, I do not like warm aftertaste. Maybe 15-year will be better.
Nez très engageant
Note trop forte en café, ça écrase tout.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Weird taste

Weird black tea taste, aged wood notes, a teeny bit of sherry barrel maybe. Burns a bit more than it should.
