Barbados | Aged | 43% ABV | Pot and Column Still Distilled
Produced in Barbados by master distiller Richard Seale, the rums in Doorly XO have been aged a minimum of 6 years before finishing in Olorosco sherry casks. The second maturation in sherry casks is rare and gives Doorly XO its unique flavour.

Tried this one during degustation of 5 different rums. It was a good relief from some sweeter pieces that we tried that night. Decent sipper for that price.
Skvela aroma, chut po vanilke. Flasa by si zasluzila lepsi design vzhladom k cene.
Color: light brown to gold, aroma: vanilla and sherry, taste: vanila and sherry, rather bitter but with good balance, not beter than 5-year Doorly's for me.
Doorly's XO is a 6 year old blend of various Barbados rum and got a finish in Oloroso sherry casks that give a very nice twist on the drink. The light brown color thanks to the rum to his initial maturation was performed in ex-whiskey barrels, a process which has left its mark.
A rum with a light character and wonderful aromas and flavors of tropical fruits which are skilfully balanced by a variety of spices, light roasted notes and hints of spice. The whole ends in a warm, soft finish with tasty smoke flavors.
Doorly's XO is a rum with an unprecedented depth and a rum that is very late sip, very tasty and therefore highly recommended for rum lovers.
Was very interested in this one but was a bit of a letdown. Initial taste too bland and dry but the aftertaste is quite long sherrylike and spicy. I like a long aftertaste but this one is just not that balanced. There needs to be more then just aftertaste imo. Maybe it neefs a higher % to bring out the best. Still a nice rum, especially if you like dryer rums.
The color of the rum promises a lot, during the nosing I felt a little bit disappointed, then a pure rum taste with a hint of sherry and a little harsh in the throat.
Nothing special.
A good sipping rum at a mixer rum price. Highly recommended.
Very smooth, easy to drink on a winters night. Drink Neat.
This is good stuff and is a great value at $17! It has flavors of cocoa, caramel and fruits. As well as a nice oakiness about it. This is great to sip on and would even be well mixed. I highly recommend.
It has that distinctive light and fruity Bajan nose. .
"Itβs nicely balanced and subtle on the nose. The rum is initially quite sweet with notes of toffee, banana, a little orange and citrusy lemon/lime. The finish is long and quite spicy with a hint of oak."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

A fantastic rum, made with great skill. It's not a syrup ladened foo foo rum. It's gets even better with a bit of oxidisation. Can punch you in the face when a new bottle is opened and isn't let to sit in the glass for about 10 mins. However when treated right it opens up to be multifaceted enjoyment juice. Everyone should have a bottle of Doorly's in the cabinet.
