Barbados | Aged | 43% ABV | Pot and Column Still
Produced in Barbados by master distiller Richard Seale, the rums in Doorly XO have been aged a minimum of 6 years before finishing in Olorosco sherry casks. The second maturation in sherry casks is rare and gives Doorly XO its unique flavour.

Doorley's XO has a beautiful comlex body that keeps on surprising you
Extremely sippable; my favorite from Barbados.
Product of foursquare distilery aged from 6-12 years in oak casks and then finished in oloroso sherry casks.
Aroma of browns sugar and nuts and toffee.
Taste includes vanilla, dried fruit, smoke tones and sweet finish influenced by sherry cask finish.
Very mild and balanced rum
This rum is truly amazing.
The taste is subtle elegant and well balanced.
Nose: it’s a fairly complex rum, we can clearly feel the influence of the barrel with the vanilla, coconut and oak, then the chocolate appears.
Palate: the attack is supple but quickly becomes dry. The alcohol is well integrated. We find woody, vanilla and coconut.
The finish is long and The same aromas as those perceived in the mouth remain for a long time.
This is a rum that I highly recommend to all rum lovers !!
This has anyone flavour just lacks on additional flavours and notes... Well worth it on the rocks
One of my favourites, well balanced, rich, have those wooden hints that I love and no sugar bomb, and what is very important - really great price for its quality
Smooth, clean and dry. As good as if not better than Doorly’s 12 ($26) and The Real McCoy ($46 in the US) which are also very good.
Best sipper I have enjoyed for under $30. That it is priced at under $20 is pretty amazing.
Not as clean and flavorful as the Seale Cask collection (like Premise which is outstanding) but a great sipper and the price point is awesome for a go to/Daily sipping rum.
Kinda smokey, like rum with a pinch of scotch. Awesome all around, could use a little bit more after taste
In my opinion, Doorly's XO is among the best values for the right amount of money. No artificial things were added, just Barbadian love.
My whole review: https://rumme.cz/doorlys-xo-recenze-kvalitni-rum/
It has that distinctive light and fruity Bajan nose. .
"It’s nicely balanced and subtle on the nose. The rum is initially quite sweet with notes of toffee, banana, a little orange and citrusy lemon/lime. The finish is long and quite spicy with a hint of oak."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is currently on my bar counter and ready at any time. It is one of the Foursquare/Seale offerings which claim/promote rums with nothing but aging and blending to give the flavors. This one certainly hits the mark. I like it very much. And it’s a good price. I tried this one because I have been hearing a lot about additives (sugars and other spices and other ingredients). I don’t think I have a problem unless there is some misdirection or misrepresentation going on (like charging a premium price for a lesser aged rum). I’m glad I was doing the research or I might not have found/tried this rum.
