Barbados | Aged | 43% ABV | Pot and Column Still
Produced in Barbados by master distiller Richard Seale, the rums in Doorly XO have been aged a minimum of 6 years before finishing in Olorosco sherry casks. The second maturation in sherry casks is rare and gives Doorly XO its unique flavour.

What can I say? This is the most complex rum I have ever purchased. It is the smoothest rum I have ever consumed. I recently finished a $40 bottle of Angel's Envy bourbon and purchased this today. I'd almost classify it in the category of a whiskey. The opening, middle, and finish are adventurous, memorable, and downright delightful. I can't believe I only paid $15. I need to buy a case before they discover what they have and charge four times this amount.
Product of foursquare distilery aged from 6-12 years in oak casks and then finished in oloroso sherry casks.
Aroma of browns sugar and nuts and toffee.
Taste includes vanilla, dried fruit, smoke tones and sweet finish influenced by sherry cask finish.
Very mild and balanced rum
Výborná chuť sherry a jemnost, veliké překvapení, můj oblíbenec
Perfect taste, great flavour, nice colour. Absolutly satisfied. I can recommended
I just revisited this and I taste very little fortified wine influence but mostly toffee and vanilla with some oak and oak tannins in the finish that bite if you take too big of a sip. I can't drink it neat but either add water or an ice cube to mellow it and it's very good. In trying it side by side with MGXO it has more oak bite in the finish and it is less smooth, however it's noticeably sweeter. Really good stuff considering it cost much less than MGXO and tastes almost the same. When tastes side by side with Cruzan Single Barrel or DonQ, the banana flavor of the Doorly's becomes highly noticeable.
I love this rum and always have a bottle on the counter. Has a bit of a bourbon taste to it. Not very sweet. Dry taste but very smooth and long lasting.
One of my favourites, well balanced, rich, have those wooden hints that I love and no sugar bomb, and what is very important - really great price for its quality
This is currently on my bar counter and ready at any time. It is one of the Foursquare/Seale offerings which claim/promote rums with nothing but aging and blending to give the flavors. This one certainly hits the mark. I like it very much. And it’s a good price. I tried this one because I have been hearing a lot about additives (sugars and other spices and other ingredients). I don’t think I have a problem unless there is some misdirection or misrepresentation going on (like charging a premium price for a lesser aged rum). I’m glad I was doing the research or I might not have found/tried this rum.
Extremely sippable; my favorite from Barbados.
It has that distinctive light and fruity Bajan nose. .
"It’s nicely balanced and subtle on the nose. The rum is initially quite sweet with notes of toffee, banana, a little orange and citrusy lemon/lime. The finish is long and quite spicy with a hint of oak."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
