Doorly's 5-Year

Very good but plain and normal, no added sugar....

Nose: Some wood and some hints of liquorice, but unspectacular.
Palate: Really shy flavour. Maybe some hints of sweet chilli on the tongue. Dry.

Try the 5-year old Barbados Rum from Plantation instead.

I like Doorlys line. This one isn't so soft and velvet like 12 Y or 14 Y, but profil is the same.

Do not remember much about this rhum other than the oak flavor from the barrels

Egy belépő szintű rum. Én longdrinknak vagy koktélba ajánlom. Oda príma. Tisztán nekem nyers.

A light fruity and sweet smell, vanilla, some wood. The taste is also light fruity and sweet, some vanilla and honey, during the finish also some wood.

That is a nice rum but it needs more complexity and taste to be good... I appreciate the natural exotic sweetness & the quality for 5 years old rum but it is not for me, i like bit sweter-tastyer & older rums. close to 7, I would compare it to Mount Gay XO but with less rich taste.

Fajny rum z Barbadosu. Mój otrzymałem jako prezent, trafiony :) ciekawy smak.
