Doorly's 5-Year

A Bajan friend and I tried this. He told me the story of when he grew on the same street as Mr. Doorly. He said he remembered thinking he was a very plain man, and he must have made a very plain rum. Couldn't agree more. I like Bajan rum tremendously, but this is nothing special.

The rum is smooth and easy to drink over ice or mixed but doesn't have much depth of flavor. I prefer a rum with more of a molasses or dark sugary flavor.

That is a nice rum but it needs more complexity and taste to be good... I appreciate the natural exotic sweetness & the quality for 5 years old rum but it is not for me, i like bit sweter-tastyer & older rums. close to 7, I would compare it to Mount Gay XO but with less rich taste.

Egy belépő szintű rum. Én longdrinknak vagy koktélba ajánlom. Oda príma. Tisztán nekem nyers.

A pleasant surprise, I enjoy it neat on colder summer evening with friends. My first Doorly's so I will definitely try more this distiller.

Det er sgu en meget fint rom må man da sige. Så det så det.

Fin rom af en 5 års rom, 6,5. Tag dog storebroren på 14 år i stedet for.

A true Bajan rum that is a very nice rum for such a short amount of time it has had to age. Too young..too young

Very mild rum with vanilla and banana flavours. Not easy to get in UK supermarkets so price point was mid range. Drinkable and good mixer, but to be honest I prefer more complexity.

Decent rum, great price, 1.75ml plastic bottle.....perfect for pool-side.
