Great vanilla nose and really smooth. Slightly on the sweet side of perfection, which is all that holds it back from a straight 10. The best sipping rum I've tried.

nose is heavy caramel and a little banana
taste is strong sweetness (9/10) and it stays for at while after

i discorved this ron with friends. For us, it's one of the best. for me it's good but to exclusif.
it's very rich ron, like a pastry dessert, cinnamon caramel, vanilla. it's not a ron for drink it's for eat...
in Belgium, the price of this ron is very cheap ( +/-30€ _+/-25-28$). To have in the "cave à rhum".

It has a good caramel sweet taste and smell.women also like it !

I really enjoy Venezuelan rum, this one is a real easy drinker straight up or over ice. It has lots of nice complex flavours. For the price you can't beat it!

Rhum de mélasse du Venezuela, vieilli 12 ans. Titre 40°
Design : bel écrin, jolie bouteille, le rhum a une belle couleur ambre foncé.
Nez : doux, fruité, caramel.
En bouche, l'attaque est sirupeuse, vanille puis alcool, poivre et boisé assez léger.
Finale : toujours cette persistance du caramel.
On sent le rhum "rectifié" à coup d'arômes et de caramel mais il reste un excellent produit.

One of my favorite rums. Neat or on the rocks. And very affordable here in Canada!

this is one of my favourites, perfect as a sipper or even with coke.
