Diplomatico Añejo

Tasted 5/15/22 at Laka Lono, 1 of 3 Diplomaticos to finish out my Purser passport.
This is a strong rum. The finish is lovely.
Do I detect a grassy flavor? This rum is supposedly discontinued, which makes me sad.

Tasted at Laka Lono on 5/5/21. Pours a deep gold color. Butterscotch aroma. A bit thin compared to the Exclusiva. Crazy buttered popcorn flavor of diacetyl. Caramel. Toffee. Perhaps this is the Werther's Original version of rum?

Zacht, medium warm, erg zoet. Moet ik nog eens een tweede test geven

I bought it for the daily. I knew the brand for the premium range. It is a good rum which is making the job. Maybe lacking of length and complexity in my point of view.

Mycket god..lagom söt och ingen spritsmak. Inte så lång eftersmak.

Unfortunately discontinued! Happy me that I still can enjoy this.
A light rum with fruity and nutty taste. Dried fruits and some vanilla tones init also.

Nice aroma of spicy caramel and vanilla.

Taste is a light spicy vanilla and caramel. Possibly a faint hint of banana.

Follow thru woodsy vanilla and peppery. This is a good mixing rum and I would like to try it with some island drinks. And of course, cola. Royal Crown, then Coke, then the rest.

Outstanding value and quality for cocktails... my favorite in a Caracas Mule... I believe it got discontinued so if you see some bottles available.... buy them all!!!
