For those who had already distilled rum, this is some large part of head rum spirit that they strongly influenced with a solution of burnt caramel in order to hide the taste. Personally, I think that is the Lemon Hart & Son « Cheese Whiz », in the sense that this is their product in order to pass the material considered as losses for the business. A lab analysis would prove that. Some one have the Alcohols type results?

This stuff, obviously, is strong strong strong. That's the point. But it actually tastes really good and shines through on my tiki cocktails.

This will bring a punch to your mixed drinks while also providing a rich but light molasses backbone to them.

Tastes like fire, burnt coffee, liquorice and fire! Dark brown colour

Molasses is strong with this one, great as a float or stirred in for a little demrara punch.

Tasted this one side-by-side with a key competitor. This one wins on the nose, the molasses and demerara come through richly.

Tasting this one gives a (expected) alcohol burn, followed by some bitterness and a sour flavor that was a little unexpected and harsh. Definitely not one that I would sip on.

I've used this plenty in cocktails and it does just fine.

Sooo much flavor. Absolutely delicious demerara flavor when mixed properly. An astonishingly big punch of flavor.

Careful, it bites, burns, and refuses to let go. We use this as top choice for a floater or mixer in tiki drinks.
