I'm not a fan of agricoles in general but this one treated me better than most. smelled a bit industrial but i wouldn't say that was a part of the taste of the burn. the flavor was woody and the burn was warming not harsh. I added coke and the mouth feel went thinker and the experience was enhanced.
It is easily drink but he deserved to age some more.
Good agricole rhum.
Nose: prune, oak, Apple, pear
Taste: heavy, thick, but smooth, wood, sugar
Finish: green apple, prune, roasted almond
The taste of this 6 years old rum is nice, the main problem being that it is fairly discreet. This is incredibly weird as the Damoiseau 50% is one of the most fruitful light rum that I've ever tasted.
This rum is probably too young, I'll have to taste its 15 yars old counterpart.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
