Solid, woody, spicy, oily Demerara added by soft sweetness and vanilla. Nothing wrong here. Nothing special either.
In the glass this is a beautiful pale yellow, with a very light bouquet to match. Peaches predominate. The taste is very smooth and buttery, with almost no heat despite being bottled at 92 proof. A very easy rum to sip neat, evoking images of a beautiful summer day. Great stuff.
Tried a glass of Berry Bros 14y Guyana and man, what a burn does it have! Bottle looks pretty decent. Color is very light for a 14y old rum. Strong alcohol to the nose. Mixed fruits are masked with more alcohol to the palate. Very harsh finish.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
