Gold of Mauritius Solera 5-Year

Rhum très bien équilibré.
Peu amateur des rhums de l'île Maurice, ce rhum est une belle surprise.
En bouche, des notes de tabac et de noix sont présentes.
Les notes finales sont longues et tendent sur les épices.

Neutral, perhaps fruity on nose.

Amazing taste. Nothing compares to this rum out of my 24⁰ sorts. It absolutely authentic and exotic. Absolutely smooth - dried prunes, dates, coconut, ripe banana on palate. It kicks a bit with ethanol - right into the target! Aftertaste feels spicy, still exotic, medium long and a bit watery.

One more rum from Mauritius did not disappoint. Minus one point because it's not 54°

Den är helt klart en bra rom och trotts att den bara är 5 år en konkurrent till de rom som är betydligt äldre.

I was really surprised tasting just 5 yeara matured rum. It a s nearly so good as comparable rums of 20 years aging. For sure i am considering 8-9.... Price argues for 8 anyway... Exceptional one

This has been one of my favourite Rum, lately, my wife brought that back from Mauritius one day. I’ve been sold ever since, very easy Rum to drink neet, I really like sweet aroma of banana, coffee, caramel… 5year old but feels much older.

Très bon rhum de dégustation, pour un 5 ans Solera. Je n'ai pas goûté à quelque chose de semblable dans tous les rhums que j'ai dégusté. Dois être très bon avec un cigare de qualité (mais je ne fume pas).

Very good traditional taste of rum and also very closed to the slightly smooked whisky.

I liked this rum very much. One of the best rums I've tried!

Un pic prea dulce pentru gustul meu, arome de ciocolată, vanilie. Ușor afumat.
