Caramel, coffee, citrus, greens. Slightly leathery in the nose.
Smooth mouth with caramel, coffee again. Complex. Orange zest.
Lingering finish, warm.
Bottle opened for 3 months
Beautiful complex nose of spices (clove) and citrus, orange. Floral and woody notes.
Round creamy attack with very long finish orange peel, woody and tourbe finish.
A must try
Somehow at first opening has quite unpleasant light glue smell, and it reminds me of slightly peated whisky, which is not a bad thing if you are into it. After a bit airing, you get somehow generic flavor, but boy is it nice with cigar which gives it a citrus fruity nose. I personally would go for the younger Panamas. Also it has nice wooden box.
For a 21 y/o and worse for a Panama rum it’s unforgivable to be this raw. Like a poorly made caribbean rum
