A. H. Riise Black Barrel Navy Spiced

A true mixer. First of all, the bottle is beautiful. The fun of rum is often that the bottle and name match. That is exactly the case here. The bottle fits nicely in your palm. The bottle is also numbered, which gives it that extra special feeling.

We first put the rum in the freezer for a day (-20 Celsius) and then drank it pure. A lot of the taste was unfortunately gone, but the golden stuff slipped in just fine. Mixed with cola, which also made the original drink slightly warmer, the walnut came out well. This rum is made for the mixer and is great to drink or give as a betweener or gift

Tento rumik ma vybornu vonu, a chut tiez. Vona je neskutocne ocarujuca. Rum chutil aj aj zenskemu osadenstvu, ktore rumu neholduje. Rum patri medzi tie sladsie. Jeho sladkou chut by som ho prirovnal k don papa. Po vypiti celej flasy vo dvojici na dalsi den rano bez bolesti hlavy.

It is less sweet than usual with A. H. Riise rums, but still retains a sweeter profile. On the palate you will feel more pronounced tones of cinnamon, sherry, vanilla and caramel.

After few sips, I was sure that this is sweet apfelstrudel rum. Cinnamon flavour is strong.
For special occasions.

Beautiful dark amber color. The intense flavor of coffee. Too sweet for me.

very smooth. Muscat, vanilla, cinnamon. Pleasent to sip. I like the light bitterish.

More expressive shades of cinnamon, sherry, vanilla and caramel on the palate. Perfect for long winter evenings. Less sweet than the previous ones, but very good.
