Cubaney Solera Reserve 8-Year

I love aroma of this rum, pure sugar cane with just i little touch of wood. This rum is not big or complicated, but I love its concept. You get very likeable and smooth taste of cane followed by pretty significant but yet not dominating taste of barrique oak. It has only 2 components, but both are great.

Yet another nice rum from the Dominican Republic in the Oliver and Oliver arsenal. This rum has a nice ensemble from the second it reaches the tastebuds to down your throat. Makes me think of Christmas with its nice display of cinnamon, cloves and vanilla. Great as a sipper or mixed with eggnog...yes eggnog.

Shrnutí: Pro ty, co s rumy začínají, to nemusí být špatná volba pro seznámení s karibským rumem, ale vzhledem k ceně bych určitě doporučil spíš sáhnout po Pamperu Aniversariu. Ale oproti komerčním kapitánům Morganům nepochybně velký pokrok.

Najlepsi rum do 20 eur, velmi jemna chut, lahko pitelny a jemny, urcite treba vyskusat, ja som bol prijemne prekvapeny.

This is mild sweet delight. Honey, nuts, molasses. This is my favourite home sipper, the taste is just great. Only very little hint of burn. Smell is nice, chocolate, vanilla and oak. The price for bottle is very nice for all of that. My tip for every bar.

Kdo nemá rád sladké rumy a nechce utratit moc peněz dobrá volba. Je to rum žádný Elixír. Důstojný bojovník v podobné cenové konkurenci.
Suchý, dřevitý méně ušlechtilý ale podobný Angostuře 1919.

The bottle is simple and flawless in its simplicity. The aroma is simple - solera and honey.Taste is plain, monosyllabic, too sweet. Though buttery, tart, nutty, acid. And behind all this, it burns! The bitterness appear after fourth shot. Unexpectedly clean drink - no storm in the morning.

Looks like a cheap rum but surprised with a easy taste. Not a champion regarding the smell and taste but definitely easy to drink.
