Smagt på Romhattens romfestival i Århus august 2020, kedelig rom.

Nothing special or particularly great. Typical for the style. Not sweet

Nice dark color to it.. Seems like a paintjob.. Dark strong scent with a strong hint of coffe.. In the mouth it´s just smooth with not much taste but the finish kicks you again with a wide selections of tastes.. The coffe of course. But also some honey, vanilla.. Quite nice and something that will have a place in my cabinet.

Ein kräftiger Rum der mich leicht an Whisky erinnert. Vom Preis Leistungsverhältnis noch okay. Ca. 30€ für die 0.5l Flasche. Das dieser Rum in einer Tonflasche angeboten wird gefällt mir.

Just like their other two rum's (the 8 and 21), this rum is well ballanced and very enjoyable.
Not as good as the 8 year old (wich you would think), but still a excellent rum.
Again, lot's of different tastes, like having a diner in a three michelin star restaurant.

Hard to imagine somebody does not like this fat boy.

The bottle .A solid black chubby thing.
In the glass. Dark amber color. The smell goes against the caramel but not as sweet. A mild odor.
In the mouth. Mild and taste of exotic fruits . Molasses and a certain sweetness comes.
Aftertaste . Long aftertaste that starts fruity but goes over to little wood. Good balanced.
Summary. A solera rum that dont stand out but is well balanced and is mild with a slight sweetness .
