Clement 15-Year

Très beau Rhum, se rapprochant en style du 1976: sec, boisé bien present, vanille, canelle, fin et racé. Très puissant aromatiquement et très long en bouche. Vaut un bel Amargac!

Un rom muy completo y redondo. Muy aromatico y persistente en boca.

I received this from friends for my 50th. They were coming down to FL to visit. I had planned on waiting for them to come down to open it.

Well that was a major fail! I opened it on a Friday and it was empty by Sunday night. Waaaaaay better that Rhum Clement XO.

Very smooth and pairs well with goat cheese & fig spread and dark chocolate - not both at the same time ;)

Lovely stuff with loads of butter, hay, green banana and tropical fruits.

Gentle and warm aroma with wood, flowers and honey. Taste is smooth, complex with basic agricole tones plus hay, flowers and some citrus tones. Aftertaste is long with nice leather finish. price could be better (150Eur in Czech Republic) but try to find and taste sample if you can.

Aged 15 years in the tropics, this old agricole rhum from Martinique is for special occasions when you want to sip something extraordinary. Very strong vanilla and spice overtones blend with enough oak to knock you senseless. I've never tasted so much wood. Strong presence of alcohol reminds you that this is an adult beverage. Although it has a sweet fragrance, this is a very dry rhum. I would not offer this to someone new to the world of rum...too demanding and complex. But it is definitely one to savor.
