Cheaper and weaker Dominican rum, 37.5% ABV, 5 YO reserva. Higher narrow bottle with screw cap.
Color: Lighter amber
Aroma: You can smell vanilla and bourboun. A little dark chocolate. The scent is so more watery.
Rum is not sweet. The taste is soft and pleasant, but not very pronounced and lacks fullness. You can feel traces of vanilla and bourbon again. The aftertaste is short and not very strong. I would recommend it more as a mixer.

Visited the Bologne Distillery while vacationing in Guadeloupe. Very nice and comprehensive tasting. Rhum Vieux 1887 was the most expensive rum at EUR 470 per bottle. High end case, bottle and label design. Deep mahogany color. Sweet Rhum Agricole flavors complemented with strong oak to your nose and palate. Mild burn at the end. Rhum Agricole lovers can easily add 2 points. Very nice rum indeed.
