Plantation Pineapple Stiggin's Fancy

Sweet, ok to have 1 straight but best used in cocktails

Got this one recommended in a liquor store. I was really surprised by the result of this "experiment". It's like drinking a pineapple without any sugar. The rum keeps pineapple fruitiness without significant sweetness. The aftertaste is a bit rough, thats why only 8.

Colour is a little lighter and the taste a little bitter. Probably better in a cocktail if that is how you prefer to drink rum.

This is an original rum. The colour is light and golden with a slight red tinge to it. The aroma is not artificial - It smells a little alcoholy, but generally mild with a hint of fruit. Sipping it straight was... OK (pretty good for a guy who doesn't like straight alcohol) - Mellow and smooth with a great pineapple aftertaste. I then added carbonated pineapple juice and drank that with ice - Nice and "easy drinking"

I like to use this to east friends used to mixers into neat rums, very fruity, obviously pineapple aroma , pretty sweet and enjoyable

Obviously this flavored rum is going to be sweeter then most but it's got a great natural taste to it and makes a great mixers. I've used it in pina coladas for extra pineapple flavor and it's a great sweet additive to other cocktails but you can also drink it by itself. It makes a great after dinner drink.

The majority of all the reviews are dead on...Nice sipping rum with hint of pineapple but not a overly sweet fake pineapple taste. It tastes like they dropped a few fresh pineapples in there. Enjoyed it out on the boat in the lake. Great for a summer day

The pineapple hits you right away, yet after a few sips I wanted more. they are able to pull off a fruity pineapple taste without making it so sweet that it would not be great Neat. Try it neat. Its different.

smells like fresh pinapple. Let it breath for 10-15min and the alcohol tase dissapers and the pinapple taste really shows.
