A perfectly well-hit agricole rhum that is just as dry as it needs to be. it has no sweetish overtones nor excessive spiciness. dry, raw, banana, citrus, cane, lavender.

Definitely agricole on the noise and palate! Vegetal. But once you get beyond that, there is more going on. Definitely something fruity in there, but I can't put my finger on it yet. Reasonably smooth, not overly sweet, light, crisp. It does make a decent ti'punch, and I occasionally mix this at 1:7, or 2:6 in daiquiris (El Dorado 3yr. balances nicely with this) for a bit of a twist on that classic cocktail. I do prefer the Barbancourt Rhum Blanc to this one - a bit more "rummy" and less agricole character on palate (but it is there on the nose)...try them both!!

This is a good Agricole Blanc but isn’t a great one. It’s a bit milder than some of its competitors and there’s nothing really wrong with it - but it isn’t quite best in class. Was a serviceable mixer while I had it on hand.

note to self: be very careful when writing down names of rums, some like Clement have complicated variations
From the notes: This rum is a bit warm, but the finish is quite nice. Like a fuzzy kitty.

that I am so harsh in my rating, but most of all, I am sorry that I bought this bottle of rum. It is my first attempt in agricole rums, may be this category is not of my taste, but I can hardly smell this rum.
It’s so grassy and floral, that it neutralises every molasses aromas. It should compliment them, but unfortunately I felt it destroyed all my Mai Tais that I attempted it to mix it…
Impossible to sip it neat…

This one ultimately tests my boundaries.
Probably better in a ti punch than straight. Lots of agricole flavor.
I do like it. But it’s hot and the flavors are sort of all over.

It's decent if you're either not willing to take the plunge on more expensive or aged rhum agricoles, or not too familiar with it and want to dip a toe into the water (or unaged cane juice).

Beautiful nose with grassy and vegetal notes right upfront. Taste is good with the same herbal and sweet qualities to it as the aroma. Overall, a great Tiki rum.

Tasted at Laka Lono on 7/2/19. A delicious agricole. Clear color. Bread, doughy, aroma. Mild palate. Parsley, mint- fresh herbs. Pepper is mild but present.

I’ve been using this in my favourite Mai tai combination along with Smith & Cross. Decided to do a taste on its own. I absolutely love the smell of this stuff, like funky, freshly rotting fruit in a spring meadow. Unfortunately the palate doesn’t quite stand up, very dry and grassy which ends quickly. A great ingredient but not for drinking on its own.
