Sippable, but nothing to write home about. I will not that i enjoyed this more than the pricier โ€œrareโ€. If in Jamaica, this is widely available at most resorts, so itโ€™s not a bad default rum for sipping.

Tried this rum at a Christmas dinner, I have the 12 year rare blend at home so I was curious about this one. I found this too much strong and disappointing in flavour. Don't get me wrong, you can sip it and it's ok for that, but don't expect to feel too much emotions because it's light in taste and you definitely feel the burn.

Good to mix but didn't blow me away. Not worth the extra cost over captain for a rum and coke.

Im an Appleton Estate drinker...this is typical Appleton...in between Signature and 12 year old...for the price, I would go with the Signature

Smoother than the signature blend, it lack somehow of the bitty or funky taste that Appleton Estate is known for. For some reason I canโ€™t explain, it reminds me the Captain Morgan Private Stock.

Keep your money and invest it on the Appleton Estate Rare Blend 12 years which is definitely a better bang for the buck.

Not really something to sip on but it makes a mean rum runner.
