Tasted at Laka Lono on 11/13/18. Truly awful. But my expectations for spiced rum are low, so it gets style credit. Not the typical "toss it all in there from the spice cabinet," but I don't know what some of these artificial flavors are as the harshness of this brutal palate destroys my ability to taste.

Re-tasted on 10/3/21- Truly horrible. Butterscotch and lighter fluid. Such a monstrosity. Dropping my score from a 3 to a 2.

Cinnamon Nutmeg cloves, I had this neat, I need to try it in a Daquiri and see if the flavors get better.

This was given as a gift, so it pains me to disparage the product. That being said, it is the least of all the rums in my cabinet, and it would still be if Malibu sat next to it.
They make fine whiskeys, but this is easily surpassed by most brands that come from south of the border.

The image below is from the Prichard's website and is the newer shape they have begun to issue. Mine is the taller/flatter version.

I like the Prichard's Crystal so much, and my son is a spiced fan, I decided to try this. I just need to keep reminding myself that I'm not a spiced rum fan. I hate to give a mediocre rating, but maybe others will rate it higher.
